Of Hog Wallow and the New Jersey Wilderness.

This is a reporter's description of an adventure into the New Jersey Pine Barrens. He runs into two "true pineys," questions them on their lives in the barrens, and listens to their opinions on certain things. Information on the clean and pure cedar bogs is included along with data on the old iron forges that existed and helped arm soldiers from the War of 1812 and the Revolutionary War. The presence of a market for sphagnum moss, blueberries, and cranberries is noted.
